Generation Gap

Generation Gap, or G-GAP as the group is sometimes called, got its beginning in 2003 when #2 son, Cory, asked dad, Craig, if he could borrow a guitar and take it to college. When he came home, he pulled out the guitar, banged out some songs and blew Craig away. That night they started jamming and working on harmonies. Jason, #1 son, stopped by during a practice session and asked if they would teach him bass parts and he’s become an excellent bassist. They played their first gig and were hooked. One of Dad’s old band friends dropped by that night for a listen, liked what he heard and agreed to join the group as the drummer. Voila! A band!

Generation Gap played with this cast for the next three years, got tight musically and vocally, and then decided to add a great, multi-instrumentalist and that’s where Dave came in.

The Gloucester Daily Times had this to say about the band:

“With a song list that ranges from Dave Matthews Band to Lynyrd Skynyrd to originals, the bands rhythms and harmonies get audiences of all ages to get up and dance!”
